Despite the name (tal = valley) the cycling as well as the running route were pretty hilly and therefore the whole triathlon a rather hard one.
Nevertheless it was a success and we were very happy and satisfied with our performance.

Tegernsee Tal-(Volks-)Triathlon
The lake Tegernsee was a refreshing 15°C (59 °F) and the organizer informed that wet suits are allowed and recommended. Of course we didn't have any! But this way our motivation to get out of the water as fast as possible was even greater ;-)
Despite the name (tal = valley) the cycling as well as the running route were pretty hilly and therefore the whole triathlon a rather hard one.
