Triathlon (again)

Here a short report of our last triathlon in Kuehbach. Due to my modest character I didn't want to brag over this awe-inspiring achievement initially, but have been convinced by one of our most faithful reader that it is to the best of all of us.
So please send any complaints and critisism to Ms. S.B. from V. in A. ;-)

This triathlon has been a new step in our sportive career. 700m of water to cover, surrounded by hundreds of equally fanatic nutters paddling, kicking and scratching their way to the shore. 33km on the bicycle and formerly mentioned , but better equipped, comrades-in-arms flying by on their race bikes, stubbornly ignoring me ringing my bell in protest. And finally 6.5km running in the hottest hour of the day, making me wonder when my head is gonna explode.

So, all in all, it has been a lot of fun. And we both became aware of our limits. At least it felt like we hit them head-first afterwards :-D
But that will give us motivation to train through the winter break and justification to buy all kinds of junk for the bike, as long as it makes it faster.

The night and the following sunday we stayed on the nearby camp-site and enjoyed the local specialty "Currywurst mit Pommes" and "Schnitzel mit Pommes", rendering every positive effect of the prior physical activity utterly useless :-D

Yaaaahhhh!! You guys are superstars! Man, I feel like a lazy beast now. I'm gonna go look at skinny tires for my bike tomorrow. Or maybe for new fall clothes at H&M....
