Finally, our first self-administered ski tour on Bavarian soil. Last Sunday (14/01/2008) we did a tour starting from
Spitzingsee and crossing two (!) summits (Rothkopf and
Rosskopf). The weather was sunny and snow was fresh, at least the first 5cm, and we felt like explorers of unknown territory ;-)
Rewarded by the blue sky and clear views and strengthened by sandwiches, tea and chocolate we whizzed back down the slope. Yeah, right. It was a skiing slope, but a black one and icy! :-P
Now we are anxiously looking forward to the next weekend. Right now the weather forecast is terrible, but we are ready to go to Austria or Switzerland over the weekend as long as there is good snow!!! What are your plans for the weekend ???

Hey! Congratulations!! You guys had super weather - very unlike ours I must say. As for the upcoming weekend....plans must wait until the weather forecast on Thursday/Friday...
